Polynesian Legacy Group Inaugural Retreat 2021
Event held in Las Vegas, NV Nov 18-20
PLG was proud to kick off our inaugural retreat in November. This was the vision and tireless efforts of our founder and Regional Director, Sa Faleono. So much had gone into the planning and logistics of the retreat, and it was only fitting that Las Vegas, was selected as the location. Team members and their families were excited to be a part of this special event, many traveled great a great distance to be here. The event was a great way to recap our business and prepare the team for our 2022 launch. Please see the attached agenda for the program for each respective day. Here is a quick summary.
Thursday Nov 18
Meet and Greet- team members started to arrive this week from Missouri, South Carolina, Utah, California. The retreat was held at the residence of Marv & Dawn Aiono. A Samoan feast was prepared by Sa Faleono and Olepa Tauilili, for the team as they arrived with excitement, and many meeting each other in person for the first time. We rented a 12 passenger van and made several trips to the airport. We ate, laughed, shared stories, ate again, and ended the evening with a lei ceremony. We all got our free SWAG and it was all personalized.
Friday Nov 19
We were treated to a home cooked breakfast and lunch. Blessed to have our guest speakers fly in from Nebraska, Nate Doud & Justin Reifert from Premier Marketing. Awesome time hearing from them and getting perspective on what to expect in 2022. Lots of questions and excitement on this day. We ended the night out on the strip, as we dined at Fogo De Chao. (Thanks Mason for saving us from doing dishes) Best Brazilian steakhouse ever. They warned us not to get excited about the Salad Bar, and save room for the meat....but it was tempting. A fantastic meal to end a splendid day.
Saturday Nov 20
More delicious cooking and hospitality from Dawn and Jr Asuega. Saved the best for last as we were instructed by our very own Lee Mason, and Sa Faleono. The dynamic duo did not disappoint. Their commitment, enthusiasm and sincerity for the team to succeed was amazing. We were also blessed to hear from our very own, Thomas Alo, and Sau, who were well prepared with their multimedia presentations. As we packed to go our separate ways it was only fitting that we end the retreat with a Luau. The perfect ending for a magnificent retreat.
